Awards

The first time I received an international award, or any award for architecture and design, I had never even heard of such a thing, not until I received the notification. That award came from the famous Wallpaper* Magazine, and a short while thereafter, I found myself on a red carpet with my wife in Place Vendome, Paris. It was only much later that I realised the significance.

It is a true privilege when someone recognises a quality of what you try to create, and it is always both a humbling and inspiring experience to receive recognition from others.

Since then we have received over 150 international awards and recognitions, including winning the A+ Award, often referred to as the Oscars of Architecture, ten times.

We are a very small studio, but our projects are always evaluated alongside those from the world’s biggest and most famous studios. To be recognised in such company certainly inspires and motivates us to continue to do our best, but also to dare to be true to ourselves and meet any new project with both respect and curiosity.
